COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1760/88 of 22 June 1988 abolishing a countervailing charge on apricots originating in Spain except in the Canary Islands
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, fulfilled and the countervailing charge on imports of apri cots originating in Spain (except in the Canary Islands) Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European can be abolished ; Economic Community, Whereas, pursuant to Article 1 36 (2) of the Act of Acces Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and sion of Spain and Portugal (*), the arrangements applicable Portugal, to trade between, on the one hand, a new Member State Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 and, on the other, the Community as constituted at 31 of 18 May 1972 on the common organization of the December 1985, must be those which were applicable market in fruit and vegetables ('), as last amended by before accession, Regulation (EEC) No 1117/88 (2), and in particular the second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1553/88 (3), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1628/88 (4), intro Article 1 duced a countervailing charge on apricots originating in Spain (except in the Canary Islands) ; Regulation (EEC) No 1553/88 is hereby repealed. Whereas for apricots originating in Spain (except in the Canary Islands) there were no prices for six consecutive Article 2 working days ; whereas the conditions specified in Article 26 (1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 are therefore This Regulation shall enter into force on 23 June 1988 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
