amending Regulation (EEC) No 2933/88 on the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain beef from intervention stocks for processing in the Community

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, — 5 500 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Italian intervention agency and bought in before 1 September 1986, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, — 350 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Dutch intervention agency and bought in before 1 February 1988 , Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of — 3 500 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the United 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market Kingdom intervention agency and bought in in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) before 1 February 1988 , No 2248/88 (2), and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof, — 1 600 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the French intervention agency and bought in before 1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2933/88 (3) February 1988, provides for the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain beef from intervention stocks for — 1 500 tonnes of boned beef held by the French processing in the Community ; whereas, in order to avoid intervention agency and bought in before 1 the further storage of some beef, the quantities put up for August 1987, sale under the abovementioned Regulations should be — 3 000 tonnes of boned beef held by the United increased ; Kingdom intervention agency and bought in before 1 March 1988 , Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are — 1 400 tonnes of boned beef held by the Irish in accordance with the opinion of the Management intervention agency and bought in before 1 Committee for Beef and Veal, August 1987, — 800 tonnes of boned beef held by the Italian intervention agency and bought in before 1 September 1986, — 2 000 tonnes of boned beef held by the Danish HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION intervention agency and bought in before 1 March 1988 .

Article1¶

Annex I of Regulation (EEC) No 2933/88 is hereby Article 1 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 2933/88 is hereby replaced by the Annex to this Regulation. replaced by the following :

' 1 . During the period 28 September to 9 November Article 3 1988 , the following approximate quantities of beef products shall be put up for sale for processing within Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 2933/88 is hereby the Community : replaced by the following : — 1 500 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Spanish Article 3 intervention agency and bought in before 1 October 1986, The security provided for in Article 4 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 2182/77 shall be : — 3 800 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the German intervention agency and bought in before 1 — 100 ECU per 100 kilograms for unboned October 1987, forequarters, — 1 000 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Irish — 140 ECU per 100 kilograms for boned meat.' intervention agency and bought in before 1 October 1987, Article 4
