COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 3992/88 of 21 December 1988 on the issue of import licences for frozen thin skirt of bovine animals

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, these circumstances and taking care to ensure an Equitable distribution of the available quantities, it is Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European appropriate to reduce proportionally the quantities Economic Community, applied for, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3484/88 of 8 November 1988 opening a Community tariff quota for frozen thin skirt of bovine animals falling within CN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : code 0206 29 91 ( 1988) ('), and in particular Article 2 thereof, Article 1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3834/88 (2) lays down detailed rules for the application of import All applications for import licences made pursuant to arrangements provided for by Regulation (EEC) No Article 7 of Regulation (EEC) No 3834/88 are hereby met 3484/88 for frozen thin skirt of bovine animals ; to the extent of 0J2734 % of the quantity requested. Whereas Article 1 (1 ) (b) of Regulation (EEC) No 3834/88 fixes the amount of frozen thin skirt which may be Article 2 imported on special terms in 1988 at 800 tonnes ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its Whereas Article 8 (5) of Regulation (EEC) No 3834/88 publication in the Official Journal of the European lays down that the quantities applied for may be reduced ; Communities. ^ whereas the applications lodged relate to total quantities which exceed the quantities available ; whereas, under It shall apply with effect from 21 December 1988.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
