COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2689/89 of 6 September 1989 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1623/89 on the opening of an invitation to tender for the refund for the export of barley

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas, in the present situation, it is appropriate to increase the quantity delivered to tender ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are Economic Community, in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Cereals,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of 29 October 1975 on the common organization of the market in cereals ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1834/89 (2), Article 1 Article 1 (1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1623/89 is hereby amended as follow : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2746/75 of 29 October 1975 laying down general rules for granting * 1 . A special intervention measure in the form of an export refunds on cereals and criteria for fixing the export refund shall be applied in respect of 500 000 amount of such refunds (3), and in particular Article 5 tonnes of barley produced in Spain.' thereof, Article 2 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1623/89 (4), This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its opened an invitation to tender for the refund for the publication in the Official Journal of the European export of barley ; Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
