COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2479/90 of 28 August 1990 abolishing the countervailing charge on fresh lemons originating in Argentina

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of that Regulation, indicates that the application of the first Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European subparagraph of Article 26(1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No Economic Community, 1035/72 would result in the countervailing charge being Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and fixed at zero ; whereas the conditions specified in the Portugal, second indent of Article 26(1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 are therefore fulfilled and the countervailing Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 charge on imports of these products originating in Argen­ of 18 May 1972 on the common organization of the tina can be abolished, market in fruit and vegetables (•), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 193/90 (2), and in particular the second subparagraph of Article 27(2) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2401 /90 (3) introduced a countervailing charge on fresh lemons Article 1 originating in Argentina ; Regulation (EEC) No 2401 /90 is hereby repealed. Whereas the present trend of prices for these products on the representative markets referred to in Commission Article 2 Regulation (EEC) No 211 8/74 (4), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3811 /85 0, recorded or calculated This Regulation shall enter into force on 29 August 1990.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
