COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 169/91 of 24 January 1991 adopting interim protective measures in regard to applications for STM licences for milk and milk products lodged between 14 and 19 January 1991

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, tage of the quantities applied for category 3 and to suspend all further issuing of licences for the products in Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European question, Economic Community,

Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and Portugal, and in particular Article 85 (1 ) thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 608/86 (') laying down detailed rules for applying the supplementary Article 1 trade mechanism to milk products imported into Spain 1 . Applications for STM licences as referred to in from the Community of Ten and from Portugal, as last Regulation (EEC) No 606/86 lodged between 14 and 19 amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3881 /90 (2), fixes the January 1991 and notified to the Commission for milk indicative ceilings for milk sector products for 1991 and products falling within : splits these up into monthly ceilings ; — category 3 of CN code ex 0406 are hereby accepted Whereas applications for STM licences for cheese of cate­ up to a percentage of 21,21 % . gory 3 lodged between 14 and 19 January 1991 relate to quantities higher than the ceiling set for the first quarter ; 2.
