COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 3916/92 of 19 December 1992 amending Regulations (EEC) No 3905/91 and (EEC) No 914/92 opening and providing for the administration of Community tariff quotas for certain industrial products (1992)

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 28 thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission,

Whereas Regulations (EEC) No 3905/91 (1) and (EEC) No 914/92 (2) opened, for 1992, Community tariff quotas for certain industrial products, and in particular polyvinylpyrrolidone (order N° 09.2731) and magnetic heads (order N° 09.2833);

Whereas current economic data suggests that Community demand for non-Community imports of polyvinylpyrrolidone could in the course of the year exceed the volume laid down in Regulation (EEC) N° 3905/91; whereas the volume of this quota should therefore be increased; whereas the period of validity of the quota for magnetic heads should be extended until 31 December 1992, to allow Community industry to make full use of the quota-volume,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article1¶

In Regulations (EEC) N° 3905/91 and (EEC) N° 914/92, the tables appearing in the first paragraph of Article 1 shall be replaced by the following tables, for order Nos 09.2731 and 09.2833, respectively:

Article2¶

This Regulation shall enter into force on the seventh day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
