COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2226/93 of 6 August 1993 on the sale by the procedure laid down in Regulation (EEC) No 2539/84 of beef held by certain intervention agencies and intended for processing within the Community and repealing Regulation (EEC) No 1387/93

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Article 1

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market 1 . The following approximate quantities of beef shall in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) be put up for sale for processing within the Community : No 1 25/93 (2), and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof,

(a) bone-in hindquarters :

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2539/84 of — 250 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Belgian 5 September 1984 laying down detailed rules for certain intervention agency and bought in before 1 March sales of frozen beef held by the intervention agencies (3), 1992, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1759/93 (4), has — 2 000 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the Italian provided for the possibility of applying a two-stage proce intervention agency and bought in before 1 March dure when selling beef from intervention stocks ; 1992,
