COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2340/93 of 23 August 1993 abolishing the countervailing charge on pears originating in Australia

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, the conditions specified in Article 26 (1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 are therefore fulfilled and the counter­ Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European vailing charge on imports of pears originating in Australia Economic Community, can be abolished, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 of 18 May 1972 on the common organization of the market in fruit and vegetables ('), as last amended by HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Regulation (EEC) No 638/93 (2), and in particular the second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) thereof, Article 1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1831 /93 (3), Regulation (EEC) No 1831 /93 is hereby repealed. introduced a countervailing charge on pears originating in Australia ; Article 2 Whereas for this product originating in Australia there were no prices for six consecutive working days ; whereas This Regulation shall enter into force on 24 August 1993.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
