COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2829/93 . of 15 October 1993 fixing the maximum buying-in price and the quantities of beef bought in for the 101st partial invitation to tender as a general intervention measure pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 1627/89
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, of the requirements for reasonable support of the market and the seasonal trend in slaughterings and prices, it has been decided not to proceed with the tendering procedure for category A and to fix the maximum buying-in price and the quantities which may be accepted into interven- Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European tion for category C; Economic Community, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Beef and Veal, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 125/93 (), and in particular Article 6 (8) thereof,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Article2¶
For category C: Whereas, in accordance with Article 13 (1) of Regulation (EEC) No 2456/93, a maximum buying-in price is to be fixed for quality R 3, where appropriate, for each partial in the Member States or regions of Member States which invitation to tender in the light of the tenders received ; meet the conditions laid down in Article 6 (2) of Regulawhereas, in accordance with Article 13 (2) of that Regula- tion (EEC) No 805/68 : tion, a decision may be taken not to proceed with the tendering procedure ; whereas, in accordance with Article — the maximum buying-in price is hereby fixed at ECU 14 of that Regulation, only tenders lower than or equal to 233 per 100 kilograms of carcases or half-carcases of the maximum price are to be accepted, without, however, quality R3, exceeding the average national or regional market price plus the amount mentioned in paragraph 1 ; — the maximum quantity of carcases or half-carcases accepted is hereby fixed at 2271 tonnes, — the maximum buying-in price per 100 kilograms of carcases or half-carcases of quality R3 is hereby fixed at ECU 229,645 in Northern Ireland. Whereas, after examination of the tenders submitted for the 101st partial invitation to tender and taking account, pursuant to Article 6 (1) of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68,
