COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 572/94 of 15 March 1994 amending Regulation (EEC) No 2444/93 opening a standing invitation to tender for the sale of Grana padano cheese held by the Italian intervention agency

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Committee for Milk and Milk Products, Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 804/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : in milk and milk products ('), as last amended by Regula­ tion (EC) No 230/94 (2), and in particular Article 8 (5) thereof, Article 1 Whereas Article 1 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2444/93 (3), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No '1 May 1992' in Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 2444/93 345/94 (4), provides for the sale by intervention to tender is hereby replaced by '1 June 1992'. of Grana padano cheese delivered into storage before 1 May 1992 ; whereas, given the development of stocks of this cheese and the quantities available, this sale should Article 2 be extended to cheese delivered into storage before 1 June 1992 ; whereas, given the urgent nature of the said This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day sale as a result of the age of the cheese in question, this following its publication in the Official Journal of the amendment should be applied without delay ; European Communities.
