COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 1311/94 of 6 June 1994 amending Regulation (EC) No 1028/94 and increasing to 400 000 tonnes the amount of maize held by the French intervention agency for which a standing invitation to tender for resale on the internal market has been opened
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, up for sale on the internal market of the Community should be increased to 400 000 tonnes ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1766/92 Committee for Cereals, of 30 June 1992 on the common organization of the market in cereals ('), as amended by Commission Regula tion (EEC) No 2193/93 (2), and in particular Article 5 thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2131 /93 (3), as amended by Regulation (EC) No 1 20/94 (4), lays down Article 1 the procedures and conditions governing the offer for sale of cereals held by intervention agencies ; In Article 1 of Regulation (EC) No 1028/94 'of 200 000 tonnes' is replaced by 'of 400 000 tonnes'. Whereas Commission Regulation (EC) No 1028/94 0, opened a standing invitation to tender for the resale on Article 2 the internal market of 200 000 tonnes maize held by the French intervention agency ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its Whereas in the present situation on the market the quan publication in the Official Journal of the European tity of maize held by the French intervention agency put Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
