REGULATION (EEC) No 152/71 OF THE COUNCIL of 26 January 1971

amending Regulation (EEC) No 750/68 laying down general rules for offsetting storage costs for sugar

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , offsetting storage costs for sugar provides that storage costs shall be reimbursed not later than the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the end of the third month following that for which the European Economic Community ; reimbursement is due;

Having regard to Council Regulation No Whereas the dates on which the levy and the 1009/67/EEC1 of 18 December 1967 on the common reimbursement are paid should be harmonised within organisation of the market in sugar, as last amended the Community and whereas the appropriate by Regulation (EEC) No 1253/70,2 and in particular provisions should be contained in one Regulation, Article 8 (2) thereof; namely Regulation (EEC) No 442/70; whereas Article 8 of Regulation (EEC) No 750/68 should therefore be Having regard to the proposal from the Commission; repealed ;

Whereas Article 8 of Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 750/683 laying down general rules for offsetting storage costs for sugar, as last amended by Article 1 Regulation (EEC) No 1394/69,4 provides that the levy shall be due on a date determined by the Member State concerned, within the period between Article 8 of Regulation (EEC) No 750/68 is hereby the date on which the sugar in question is disposed of repealed. and the end of the month following that of disposal; Article 2 Whereas Article 9 ( 1 ) of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 442/70 of 9 March 19705 laying down This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March detailed rules for the application of the system of 1971 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
