REGULATION (EEC) No 2849/71 OF THE COMMISSION of 28 December 1971
supplementing Regulations (EEC) Nos 1373/70, 2637/70 and 432/71 as regards advance fixing certificates for the levy on beef and veal
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM established arrangements for the advance fixing of MUNITIES, the levy on certain beef and veal products originating in and coming from countries which, because of the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the length of the sea transport route, have concluded an European Economic Community ; agreement with the Community in this respect comprising certain guarantees ; Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC ) No 805/68 1 of 27 June 1968 on the common organisation Whereas Argentina has signed such an agreement of the market in beef and veal, as last amended by with the Community; whereas the arrangements for Regulation (EEC) No 2727/71 ,2 and in particular the advance fixing of the levy established by the Article 12a (2) and Article 15 (3 ) thereof; above-mentioned Regulation should be extended to that country ; Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1373/703 of 10 July 1970, as amended by Regulation (EEC) No Whereas application of such a system is subject to the 263 8/70,4 laid down common detailed rules for the entry into force of implementing provisions ; whereas / application of the system of import and export consequently Regulations (EEC) Nos 1373 /70, licences and advance fixing certificates for 2637/70 and 432/71 should be supplemented ; agricultural products subject to a single price system ;

Article 1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 432/71 7 of 26 February 1971 laid down the information The following shall be substituted for the eighth procedure to be followed for the application of the indent of Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 1373/70 : system of import licences for beef and veal ;

' 1 .
