REGULATION (EEC) No 799/72 OF THE COUNCIL of 17 April 1972 fixing intervention prices for paddy rice for the 1972/73 marketing year

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, whereas such prices must be hxed in accordance with the criteria listed in Article 4 (3 ) of Regulation No Having regard to the Treaty establishing the 359/67/EEC ; European Economic Community ; Whereas in accordance with those criteria the same Having regard to Council Regulation No 359/67/ intervention prices should be fixed for Aries and EEC1 of 25 July 1967 on the common organization Vercelli, and such prices should be higher than those of the market in rice, as last amended by Regulation for the preceding marketing year; (EEC) No 2726/71 ,2 and in particular Article 4 (4) thereof; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ;

Sole Article Whereas the Aries and Vercelli intervention prices for paddy rice must be derived from the target price for husked rice, fixed by Council Regulation (EEC) The Aries and Vercelli intervention prices for paddy No 798 /723 of 17 April 1972 fixing the target price rice shall be 13-00 units of account per 100 kilo­ for husked rice for the 1972/73 marketing year, and grammes for the 1972/73 marketing year.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
