REGULATION .(EEC) No 1409/72 OF THE COUNCIL of 27 June 1972 fixing for the 1972/73 marketing year the monthly price increases for paddy rice and husked rice

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, figures, and the monthly price increases for husked rice should be fixed at a level which takes account of Having regard to the Treaty establishing the the increases for paddy rice and the ratio between the European Economic Community; two stages in question ;

Having regard to Council Regulation No 359/67/EEC1 of 25 July 1967 on the common HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : organization of the market in rice, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2726/71 ,2 and in particular Sole Article Article 7 (2) thereof; 1 . For the 1972/73 marketing year the amount of Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; each of the monthly increases provided for in Article 7 ( 1) and Article 14 (2) of Regulation No 359/67/ Whereas , when the number and the amount of the EEC shall be: monthly increases and the first month during which these are to apply are fixed, both the costs of storing — 0-120 units of account per 100 kilogrammes of and financing rice in the Community and the need to paddy rice ; ensure that the disposal of stocks of rice conforms to — 0-150 units of account per 100 kilogrammes of market requirements should be taken into account; husked rice. Whereas, to this end, for the 1972/73 marketing year, the monthly price increases for paddy rice should be 2. These monthly increases shall apply from 1 fixed in accordance with the same scale as for the December 1972 to 1 July 1973 . The prices thus 1971 /72 marketing year and at the same level in obtained for the month of July 1973 shall remain practice, the amount being expressed in round valid until 31 August 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
