REGULATION (EEC) No 1505/72 OF THE COMMISSION of 13 July 1972 determining the marketing centres for rice, other than Aries and Vercelli, for the 1972/73 marketing year

THE COMMISSION OF THE . EUROPEAN COM­ Whereas the consultations provided for in Article MUNITIES, 4 (6) of Regulation No 359/67/EEC have been initiated; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Having regard to Council Regulation No are in accordance with the Opinion of the 359/67/EEC1 of 25 July 1967 on the common Management Committee for Cereals ; organization of the market in rice, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2726/71 ,2 and in particular Article 4 (6) thereof; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Whereas the intervention prices for paddy rice, fixed by the Council for Aries and Vercelli, form the basis for the regionalization of prices applicable to the Sole Article Community; whereas, in accordance with Article 4 (3 ) of Regulation No 359/67/EEC, these prices are applicable to the other major marketing centres in For the 1972/73 marketing year, the major marketing areas of surplus production in France and Italy ; centres in areas of surplus rice production other than whereas application of the rules laid down in Aries and Vercelli mentioned in Article 4 (3 ) of Regulation No 369/67/EEC3 must dictate the choice Regulation No 359/67/EEC are determined in the of these centres; Annex to this Regulation,

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
