REGULATION (EEC) No 2717/72 OF THE COUNCIL of 19 December 1972 laying down, in respect of hops, the amount of the aid to producers for the 1971 harvest

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNI­ Whereas the study of the results of the 1971 TIES , harvest gives rise to the fixing of aid for most varieties of hops ; whereas for one variety, the aid should be higher than for the other Having regard to the Treaty establishing the varieties : European Economic Community and in partic­ ular Article 43 thereof;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Regulation (EEC) No 1696/71 1 of the Council , of 26 July 1971 , on the common organisation of the market in hops and in Article 1 particular Article 12 (5) thereof; Having regard to the proposal from the Com­ For the 1971 harvest aid shall be granted for the mission ; following varieties of hops: Brewers Gold , Hallertauer, Hersbrucker Spat, Hiiller bitterer, Having regard to the Opinion of the European Northern Brewer, Record, Spalter, Strissel­ Parliament; spalt, Tardif de Bourgogne, Tettnanger . The amount of the aid shall be that set out in Whereas Article 12 of Regulation (EEC) the Annex to this Regulation . No 1696/71 provides for the possibility of granting aid to hop producers to enable them to achieve a fair income; whereas the amount Article 2 of this aid is fixed per hectare and differs according to variety, taking into account the average return in comparison with the average This Regulation shall enter into force on the returns for previous harvests , the current third day following its publication in the position of the market and price trends; Official Journal of the European Communities.
