REGULATION (EEC) No 462/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 31 January 1973 amending Annex III to Regulation (EEC) No 979/72 as regards the compensatory amounts to be applied, as a result of events in the monetary field, in respect of certain beef and veal products

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Beef and Veal ;

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Article 1 974/71 ( x) of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture following Annex III to Regulation (EEC) No 979/72 is hereby the temporary widening'of the margins of fluctuation amended as follows : for the currencies of certain Member States, as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2746/72_'( 2) ,fand (a) for each of the Member States concerned in the in particular Article 6 thereof ; column 'third countries' and for the products falling within Whereas the compensatory amounts provided for in — subheading No 01.02 A II b), the reference Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 were fixed in Regulation '(*)' shall be added (EEC) No 979/72 ( 3), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2705/72 (4) ; — subheadings Nos 02.01 A II a) 2 aa), bb), cc), dd), 11 and dd) 22, the reference '(2)' shall be added ; Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1602/72 (5) of 26 July 1972 amending Regulation (EEC) No (b) the following footnotes shall be added : 979/72 as regards the compensatory amounts to be applied, as a result of events in the monetary field, in '(x) The compensatory amount is not levied within respect of certain agricultural products, supplemented the limit of an annual tariff quota, to be granted with references Annex III to Regulation (EEC) No by the competent authorities of the European 979/72 ; Communities,

Article 2 It shall apply from 1 January 1973 in the original Mem­ ber States and from 1 February 1973 in the new This Regulation shall enter into force on the day Member States . following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
