REGULATION (EEC) No 1538/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 8 June 1973 altering the refunds on molasses, syrups and certain other sugar products exported in the natural state

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the Opinion of the Monetary Committee COMMUNITIES, was requested ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas the refunds on molasses, syrups and certain other sugar products were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 1440/73 (8) ; Article 1 Whereas, if the refund system is to operate normally, refunds should be calculated on the following basis : The basic amount of the refund on the products listed in Article 1 ( 1 ) ( c) and (d) of Regulation No — in the case of currencies which are maintained in 1009/67/EEC, exported in the natural state, is here­ relation to each other, at any given moment, within a band of 2-25 % , a rate of exchange by altered to the amounts shown in the Annex to this Regulation . based on their effective parity ; — for other currencies an exchange rate based on Article 2 the arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of each of these currencies recorded for a given period, in relation to the Community currencies This Regulation shall enter into force on 9 June referred to in the previous subparagraph ; 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
