REGULATION (EEC) No 2056/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 27 July 1973 fixing compensatory amounts for pigmeat products

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN ratio referred to in Article 10 ( 1 ) and (2) ( a ) of COMMUNITIES, Council Regulation No 121 /67/EEC (5 ) of 13 June 1967 on the common organization of the market in Having regard to the Treaty (^ concerning the pigmeat, as last amended by the Act, annexed to the Accession of new Member States to the European Treaty of Accession, from those applicable for pig Economic Community and the European Atomic carcases ; Energy Community, signed at Brussels on 22 January 1972 , as amended by the Decision of 1 lanuary Whereas calculation of the compensatory amounts 1973 ( 2 ); applicable to Denmark produces minimal amounts, and whereas therefore, in accordance with Article 55 (4) of the Act of Accession, no compensatory Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC ) No amounts should be fixed for that country ; 234/73 (3) of 31 January 1973 laying down general rules for the system of compensatory amounts for Whereas the Management Committee for Pigmeat, pigmeat, and in particular Article 8 (2) thereof; has not delivered an opinion within the time limit set by its Chairman ; Whereas the compensatory amounts applicable up to 31 July 1973 for pigmeat products were fixed in Regulation ( EEC) No 234/ 73 and in Commission HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Regulation (EEC) No 467/73 ( 4 ) of 31 January 1973 ; Article 1 Whereas the compensatory amounts applicable to pig carcases from 1 August 1973 are to be calculated by The compensatory amounts for pigmeat products taking as a basis the amounts fixed for these products applicable from 1 August 1973 to 31 July 1974 in in Regulation (EEC) No 234/73 and adjusting them trade between the Community as originally to take account of the variation in the compensatory constituted and the new Member States , and between amounts applicable in respect of the quantity of feed the latter and third countries , shall be as shown in grain required to produce one kilogramme of the Annex hereto . pigmeat in the Community ; Article 2 Whereas the compensatory amounts applicable from that same date for products other than pig cacasses are This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 August to be derived, by means of coefficients expressing the 1973 .

( a) Entry under this subheading is subject to conditions to be determined by the competent authorities . ( b ) The compensatory amount applicable to sausages imported in containers also containing preservative liquid shall be levied on the net weight, after de­ ducting the weight of the liquid. N.B. ; For products falling within subheadings 02.01 B II c), 15.01 A I , 16.01 A and 16.02 A II of the Common Customs Tariff for which the rate of duty has been bound against increase within the framework of GATT , compensatory amounts are limited to the amount resulting from this binding.
