REGULATION (EEC) No 3158/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 19 November 1973 amending Regulation Nos 134/67/EEC and 137/67/EEC on sluice-gate prices and the system of 'pilot products and derived products' for pigmeat

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN sluice-gate prices are fixed and adopting the rules COMMUNITIES , for fixing the sluice-gate price for pig carcases, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 231/73 (4), Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ and also the Annexes to Council Regulation No pean Eonomic Community ; 137/67/EEC (5) of 13 June 1967 laying down general rules for the system of 'pilot products and derived products' allowing additional amounts to be fixed Having regard to Council Regulation No 121 /67/ for pigmeat, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) EEC (*) of 13 June 1967 on the common organiza­ No 231 /73 ; tion of the market in pigmeat, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1652/73 (2) and in particular Whereas the tariff nomenclature resulting from the Articles 12 (4) and 13 (4) thereof ; application of Regulation No 121/67/EEC is repro­ duced in the Common Customs Tariff, Having regard to the proposal from the Commis­ sion ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas in view of the increasing trade in boned or Article 1 boneless pigmeat, a specific heading should be intro­ duced for boned or boneless and frozen pigmeat ; The list of products under heading No 02.01 of the whereas it is therefore necessary to amend Article 1 Common Customs Tariff, which appears in Annex of Council Regulation No 134/67/EEC (3) of 13 June II (b) to Regulation No 137/67/EEC, is hereby re­ 1967 establishing the list of products for which placed by the following list :

Article4¶

The Common Customs Tariff is hereby amended as shown in the Annex to this Regu­ lation . Article 5

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 1974.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
