REGULATION (EEC) No 1617/74 OF THE COUNCIL of 25 June 1974 on the temporary total suspension of the customs duties applicable in the Community as originally constituted on D- and DL- calcium pantothenate falling within subheading 29.38 B II of the Common Customs Tariff and imported from the new Member States

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN on the product concerned imported from the new COMMUNITIES, Member States should be totally suspended for the same period,

Having regard to the Treaty concerning the accession of new Member States to the European Economic HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Community and the European Atomic Energy Com­ munity, and in particular Article 33 (2) of the Act (x ) annexed thereto ; Article 1 Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; From 1 July to 31 December 1974 the customs duties Whereas by Regulation (EEC) No 1616/74 (2 ), the applicable in the Community as originally constituted Council has temporarily suspended the autonomous on D - and DL- calcium pantothenate falling within Common Customs Tariff duties ' for the period subheading 29.38 B II of the Common Customs Tariff running from 1 July to 31 December 1974 for D­ and imported from the new Member States shall be and DL- calcium pantothenate falling within sub­ totally suspended. heading ex 29.38 B II of the Common Customs Tariff to the level of 2-3 % ;

Article 2 Whereas with a view to maintaining Community preference for this product the customs duties ap­ plicable in the Community as originally constituted This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1974.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
