REGULATION (EEC) No 2521 /74 OF THE COMMISSION of 4 October 1974 amending the detailed rules for the application of the monetary compensatory amounts

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Irish pound are no longer the same; whereas it is COMMUNITIES, therefore no longer possible to retain the abovementioned provision; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinions of the relevant Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Management Committees, 974/71 i1) of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture following the temporary widening of the margins of fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : States, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2497/74 (2), and in particular Article 6 thereof; Article 1 Whereas Article 8 (3 ) of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1463 /73 (s) of 30 May 1973 laying down Article 8 (3 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1463/73 is detailed rules for the application of monetary hereby repealed. compensatory amounts, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1099/74 (4), provides that no monetary compensatory amount is to apply in trade between Ireland and the United Kingdom; Article 2

Whereas with effect from 7 October 1974 the This Regulation shall enter into force on 7 October representative rates for the pound sterling and the 1974.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
