REGULATION (EEC) No 3136/74 OF THE COMMISSION of 12 December 1974 fixing for the 1974/75 marketing year the minimum purchase price for oranges supplied for processing and the amount of financial compensation payable in respect of the processing of such oranges

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Fruit and Vegetables,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2601 /69 (!) of 18 December 1969 laying down special measures to encourage the processing of certain varie­ ties of oranges, as amended by Regulation (EEC) No Article 1 176/73 (2), and in particular Articles 2 (3) and 3 (2) thereof ; 1 . For the 1974/75 marketing year, the minimum price referred to in Article 2 (2) of Regulation (EEC) Whereas Article 2 of Regulation (EEC) No 2601 /69 No 2601 /69 is fixed as follows : provides that the minimum price which, under the contracts, must be paid by the processors to the — 6-5 units of account per 100 kg net for products in producers is to be calculated on the basis of the Class I , purchase price plus 10 % of the basic price of the — 5-4 units of account per 100 kg net for products in varieties which , by reason of their commercial charac­ Class II, teristics, are usually sent for processing ; whereas since the products in question are oranges of the Biondo — 4-2 units of account per 100 kg net for products in commune variety, the minimum price should be fixed Class III or mixed . on the basis of the average purchase price operative for oranges of that variety in the current marketing year under Regulation (EEC) No 1069/74 (3) fixing the 2. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
