fixing the threshold prices for certain milk products for the 1975/76 milk year

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES,

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ pean Economic Community ; 1 . The threshold prices for the 1975/76 milk year shall be as follows :

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 804/ Pilot product units of account per 100 kg of the group from 68 ( 1 ) of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of products J March J 975 16 September 1975 of the market in milk and milk products, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 465/75 (2), and 1 25.00 25.50 in particular Article 4 thereof; 2 101.75 101.75 3 144-10 149-20 4 56.30 57-75 Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; 5 75.50 77-20 6 209.80 224-75 Whereas threshold prices should be fixed so that, taking account of the protection required for the 7 214.18 223-56 Community processing industry, the prices of im­ 8 176.70 182.30 ported milk products correspond to the level of the 9 277.30 283-90 target price for milk; whereas, consequently, the 10 190.20 197.10 threshold price should be fixed on the basis of the 11 173.80 178.65 target price for milk, taking into account the relation­ ship which should be established between the value 12 50.00 51.00 of milkfat and that of skimmed milk, as well as the standardized costs and yields for each of the milk 2. The pilot products referred to in paragraph 1 are products in question ; whereas a fixed amount should those described in Annex I to Council Regulation be included to ensure adequate protection of the ( EEC) No 823 /68 (3) of 28 June 1968 determining Community processing industry ; the groups of products and the special provisions for calculating levies on milk and milk products, as last amended by Regulation ( EEC ) No 467/73 (4 ). Whereas threshold prices should be fixed for the trading stage at which imported milk products first Article 2 come into competition with milk products manu­ factured within the Community, i.e. the 'delivered This Regulation shall enter into force on 3 March free wholesaler' stage, 1975 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
