REGULATION (EEC) No 1644/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 27 June 1975 repealing Regulation (EEC) No 3171 /74 fixing a special export levy on sugar beet and sugar cane

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN sugar and cane sugar, did not specify the period in tOMMUNITIES, respect of which the levy would apply ; whereas it is therefore appropriate to clarify the situation by Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European repealing the said Regulation with effect from the Economic Community ; start of the new sugar year ; Having regard to Council Regulation No 1009/ Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation 67/EEC (*) of 18 December 1967 on the common are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ organization of the market in sugar, as last amended ment Committee for Sugar, by Regulation (EEC) No 2476/74 (2), and in particular Article 1 6 (5) thereof ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Article 4 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 825/75 (3) of 25 March 1975 laying down special Article 1 detailed rules for the application of export levies on sugar, specifies that the special export levy on sugar Regulation (EEC) No 3171 /74 is hereby repealed. beet and sugar cane shall in principle be fixed for each sugar marketing year ; whereas Commission Article 2 Regulation (EEC) No 31 74/74 (4) of 16 December 1974, which imposed a special export levy on beet This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1975.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
