REGULATION ( EEC) No 1646/75 OF THE COMMISSION of 27 June 1975 on the non-application of import levies and export refunds in respect of transac tions in connection with certain invitations to tender for the subsidized importa tion of sugar

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN export licences and advance fixing certificates for agri­ COMMUNITIES, cultural products, as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 1435/75 ( 10) should be amended ;

Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European are in accordance with - the Opinion of the Manage­ Economic Community ; ment Committee for Sugar,

Having regard to Council Regulation No 1009 / HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 67/ EEC ( J ) of 18 December 1967 on the common organization of the market in sugar, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2476/74 (2), and in particular Article 1 Articles 11(2), 14(6), 16(5) and 17(4) thereof ; No import levy shall apply in respect of white and raw sugar import under an import licence which provides for an import subsidy determined under the Whereas pursuant to Regulation ( EEC) No terms of Regulation (EEC) No 3062/74, (EEC) No 3062/74 (3 ), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 557/75 , (EEC) No 558 /75 or (EEC) No 630/75 . 363/75 (4), and to Regulations (EEC) No 557/75 (5) ( EEC) No 558 /75 (6) and ( EEC) No 630 / 75 ( 7), as all amended by Regulation (EEC) No 999/75 (8), standing Article 2 invitations to tender have been opened for the subsid­ ized importation of sugar with entitlement to the No export refund shall apply in respect of white and subsequent re-exportation of a corresponding tonnage raw sugar exported under an export licence issued free of export levy ; under the terms of Regulation (EEC) No 3062/74, (EEC) No 557/75, (EEC) No 55 8 /75 or (EEC) No 630 / 75 . Whereas since 31 May 1975 an import levy has again been applicable on white and raw sugar ; whereas Article 3 having regard to forecasts of sugar production for the coming marketing year and to price trends on the 1 .
