REGULATION (EEC) No 1816/75 OF THE COUNCIL of 10 July 1975 on the supply of butteroil to the Office of the United Nations High Commis sioner for Refugees under the 1975 food-aid programme intended for the popula tion affected by the events in South Vietnam
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN population is critical ; whereas it is necessary to contri COMMUNITIES, bute towards improving this situation by supplying to the fob stage or a corresponding stage 500 metric tons Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European of butteroil from the reserve as food aid ; whereas the Economic Community ; Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is prepared to ensure the shipment of this Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No aid from the territory of the Community, 1541 /75 (*) of 16 June 1975 laying down general rules for the supply of milk fats to certain developing coun tries and international organizations under the 1975 HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : food-aid programme, and in particular Article 8 thereof ; A rticle 1 Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Of the 4 550 metric tons of butteroil set aside as a Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 1541 /75 provides for the supply of 43 400 metric tons of butteroil as food reserve under Regulation (EEC) No 1542/75, 500 metric tons shall be allocated to the Office of the aid to certain developing countries and international organizations ; United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for the purpose of assisting the population affected by the Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1 542/75 (2) of events in South Vietnam . 16 June 1975 on the supply of milk fats to certain developing countries and international organizations Article 2 under the 1975 food-aid programme, provides for a reserve of 4 550 metric tons of butteroil ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day Whereas, as a result of the events in South Vietnam , following its publication in the Official Journal of the food situation for a substantial proportion of the the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
