REGULATION ( EEC) No 2598 / 75 OF THE COMMISSION of 13 October 1975 supplementing Regulation (EEC) No 1646/75 as regards the fixing of security for export licences issued under Regulations (EEC) No 3062/74 and (EEC) No 630/75
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN whereas in the interests of fairness the security for the COMMUNITIES, export licences to be delivered under the invitations to tender opened under Regulations (EEC) No 3062/74 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European and (EEC) No 630/75 should be reduced to the same Economic Community ; level and therefore Commission Regulation (EEC) No Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1646/75 (9) of 27 June 1975 on the non-application of 3330/74 (') of 19 December 1974 on the common import levies and export refunds in respect of transac tions in connection with certain invitations to tender organization of the market in sugar, and in particular Article 1 2 (2) thereof ; for the subsidized importation of sugar should be supplemented ; Whereas pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 3062/74 (2), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation 363/75 (3), and to Regulation ( EEC) No 630/75 (4), as are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 999/75 (5), ment Committee for Sugar, standing invitations to tender have been opened for the subsidized importation or purchase of sugar HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : carrying an entitlement subsequently to re-export a corresponding quantity ; Article 1 Whereas the export of sugar by virtue of the said invi tations to tender is effected free of levy or refund ; There shall be added to Regulation ( EEC) No 1646/75 whereas therefore the licences issued for this purpose the following Article 3a : are deemed to be export licences with a refund or levy 'Article 3a fixed in advance ; The security for export licences issued under Regu Whereas by virtue of Article 13(1 ) (c) of Regulation lation (EEC) No 3062/74 and (EEC) No 630/75 (EEC) No 2048 /75 (6) the security required for these shall be 2-50 units of account per 100 kilo licences is three units of account per 100 kilo grammes net.' grammes ; Whereas , however, under the invitations to tender A rticle 2 opened pursuant to Regulations (EEC) No 557/75 (7) and ( EEC) No 558 /75 (8), the security has been fixed This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 October 1975 . at 2-50 units of account per 100 kilogrammes ;
