REGULATION ( EEC) No 3413/75 OF THE COUNCIL of 30 December 1975 extending the term of validity of Council Regulation (EEC) No 346/75 concerning the importation into the Community of certain fishery products originating in Tunisia
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN transitional arrangements instituted by Regulation COMMUNITIES, (EEC) No 346/75 should be extended until the intro duction of the Agreement referred to above, but not in Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European any event beyond 31 December 1976, Economic Community, and in particular Article 43 thereof ; Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :
Having regard to the Opinion of the European Parlia ment (') ; Article 1 Whereas by Council Regulation (EEC) No 346/75 (2) of 10 February 1975 concerning the importation into The first paragraph of Article 4 of Regulation (EEC) the Community of certain fishery products originating No 346/75 shall be replaced by the following text : in Tunisia, transitional arrangements were laid down 'The arrangements provided for by this Regulation concerning trade in trout, carp, preserved sardines and shall apply for 1976, until the introduction of the tunny between the Community and Tunisia ; new Association Agreement between the European Whereas negotiations are in progress with a view to Economic Community and the Republic of Tunisia but not later than 31 December 1976.' concluding a new Association Agreement between Tunisia and the European Economic Community ; whereas this new Agreement will provide for special Article 2 import arrangements for the products in question ;
Whereas, to avoid any disruption in the trade in these This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January products between the Community and Tunisia, the 1976 .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
