COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1220/76 of 24 May 1976 concerning an invitation to tender for the supply of butteroil as food aid to the World Food Programme for India
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES ,
Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Tenders are invited, as provided in Regulation (EEC) No 2247/ 75, for the costs of manufacture and delivery Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No to the WFP of 1 610 metric tons of butteroil for India 804/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization and divided into the following lots : of the market in milk and milk products ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 559/76 (2), and in — Lot A : 710 metric tons, particular Article 6 (7) thereof, — Lot B : 540 metric tons, — Lot C : 360 metric tons . Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1542/75 of 16 June 1975 on the supply of milk fats under the 1975 Article 2 food-aid programme to certain developing countries and to certain international organizations (3), provides inter alia that 16 000 metric tons of butteroil 1 . The butter to be used in manufacturing the butteroil shall be taken over from : obtained from butter held by the intervention agen cies shall be made available to the World Food — the French intervention agency as regards Lots A Programme (WFP) ; whereas the WFP has requested and C, the supply of 1 610 metric tons of butteroil for India ; whereas this delivery shall be considered as completed — the German intervention agency as regards Lot B. when the butteroil is deposited at the port of embarka tion at the point designated by the WFP or its 2. Article 4 Article 5 This Regulation shall enter into force on the day The time limit for the submission of tenders is 8 June following its publication in the Official Journal of 1976 at 12 noon . the European -Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
