COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1335 / 76 of 9 June 1976 relating to Community surveillance over imports of certain stockings origi nating in the Republic of Korea or in Taiwan
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES ,
Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Imports into the Community of stockings, under stockings, socks, ankle-socks, sockettes, and the like, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No knitted or crocheted, not elastic nor rubberized, of 1439/74 of 4 June 1974 on common rules for wool or of fine animal hair, of synthetic textile fibres, imports ('), and in particular Article 7 thereof, of cotton and of other textile materials, corresponding to Nimexe positions 60.03-11 , 19, 25 , 27, 30 and 90 and originating in the Republic of Korea and in After consultation within the Committee set up under Article 5 thereof, Taiwan , are hereby made subject to Community surveillance in accordance with the procedures laid down in Articles 8 and 1 1 of Regulation (EEC) No Whereas by Regulation (EEC) No 2967/74 of 25 1439/74 and in this Regulation . November 1974 ( 2 ), the Commission established Community surveillance over imports of certain stock ings made from acrylic fibres and originating in the Article 2 Republic of Korea or in Taiwan ; 1 . Whereas, furthermore, since Regulation ( EEC) No 3282/75 (4) made imports of synthetic socks origi nating in Taiwan subject to a system of authorization Article 4 when imported into certain Member States and since quantitative limits on exports from the Republic of Regulation ( EEC) No 2967/74 amended by Regulation Korea have been agreed with that country, the said ( EEC) No 1680 /75 is hereby repealed . authorization or the document used to check the observance of the said limits should take the place of the import document provided for in Article 8 ( 1 ) of Article 5 Regulation ( EEC) No 1439 / 74, This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day (') OJ No L 159 , 15 . 6 . 1974, p. 1 . following its publication in the Official Journal of (*) OJ No L 316, 26. 11 . 1974, p. 7 .
