altering the monetary compensatory amounts

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas detailed rules for the application of monetary COMMUNITIES, compensatory amounts were laid down by Regulation ( EEC) No 1380/75 of 29 May 1975 (5), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC ) No 1834/76 ( 6); Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European whereas the spot market rates recorded for the Economic Community, pound sterling and the Irish pound pursuant to Regulation ( EEC) No 1380/75 during the period Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 28 July to 3 August 1976 show that the difference 974/71 of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of con has changed by more than one point from the junctural policy to be taken in agriculture following percentage taken as a basis when the monetary the temporary widening of the margins of fluctuation compensatory amounts were last fixed, for the currencies of certain Member States ( 1 ), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC ) No 557/76 (2 ), and HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : in particular Article 3 thereof.

Article 1 Whereas the monetary compensatory amounts provided for in Regulation ( EEC) No 974/71 were 1 . In Parts 1 , 2, 3 , 4, 5 , 7 and 8 of Annex I to fixed by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 of Regulation ( EEC) No 572/76 the columns headed 15 March 1976 (3), as last amended by Regulation 'United Kingdom' and 'Ireland' are hereby replaced ( EEC ) No 1910/76 ( 4 ); by those set out in Annex I to this Regulation.

2. Annexes II and III to Regulation ( EEC) No Whereas, under Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 are hereby replaced by Annexes II and III to 974/71 , the monetary compensatory amounts must be this Regulation. altered if the difference referred to in Article 2 ( 1 ) of that Regulation changes by one point or more from Article 2 the percentage taken as a basis for the preceding determination ; whereas the compensatory amounts must be altered in accordance with the change in this This Regulation shall enter into force on 9 August difference ; 1976 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
