altering the monetary compensatory amounts

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN recorded for the Italian lira pursuant to Regulation COMMUNITIES, (EEC) No 1380/75 during the period 25 to 31 August 1976 show that the difference has changed by more than one point from the percentage taken as a basis Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European when the monetary compensatory amounts were last Economic Community , fixed ; * Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC ) Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) Np 2054/76 No 974/71 of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of of 19 August 1976 on the sale for export to non conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture member countries of skimmed-milk powder held by following the temporary widening of the margins of fluctuation of the currencies of certain Member intervention agencies and intended for use as feed (7 ), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2166/76 (8), States ( 1 ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) provides that the monetary compensatory amounts No 557/76 (2), and in particular Articles 3 and 6 applicable to skimmed-milk powder sold under that thereof, Regulation are to be multiplied by a coefficient in order to take account of the reduction in price Whereas the monetary compensatory amounts granted on sales by the intervention agencies ; provided for in Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 were whereas the compensatory amounts applicable to fixed by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 certain products must therefore be altered ; of 15 March 1976 (3), as last amended by Regulation (EEC ) No 2114/76 (4); Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage Whereas, under Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) ment Committees for Cereals and for Milk and No 974/71 , the monetary compensatory amounts Milk Products, must be altered if the difference referred to in Article 2 ( 1 ) of that Regulation changes by one point or more from the percentage taken as a basis for the preceding determination ; whereas the compensatory HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : amounts must be altered in accordance with the change in this difference ;

Article 1 Whereas detailed rules for the application of monetary compensatory amounts were laid down by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1380/75 of 1 . In Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 the 29 May 1975 (5), as last amended by Regulation column headed 'Italia' is replaced by that set out in (EEC ) No 1834/76 ( 8); whereas the spot market rates Annex I to this Regulation.

Wanneer evenwel deze produkten magere-melkpoeder bevatten en a) vismeel of visolie en/of visleverolie, b) actieve kool en/of een mengsel van tartrazinegeel (E 102) en patentblauw V (E 131 ) of cochenille-rood A (E 124) of patentblauw V (E 131), c) iizercarbonaat en/of ijzersulfaat en/of kopersulfaat wordt het in het intra-communautaire handelsverkeer en het handelsverkeer met derde landen toe te passen compenserende bedrag voor respectievelijk — onderverdeling 23.07 B I a) 2 dat van onderverdeling 23.07 B I a) 1 , — onderverdeling 23.07 B I b) 2 dat van onderverdeling 23.07 B I b) 1 , — onderverdeling 23.07 B I c) 2 dat van onderverdeling 23.07 B I c) 1 .

Dog, når disse produkter indeholder skummetmælkspulver og enten a) fiskemel eller fiskeolie og/eller fiskelevertran, b) aktivt kul og/eller en blanding af tartrazingult (E 102) og patent blue V (E 131 ) eller cochenillerødt A (ponceau 4 R) (E 124) eller patentblue V (E 131 ), c) jerncarbonat og/eller jernsulfat og/eller kobbersulfat, anvendes det monetære udligningsbeløb til veksling inden for Fællesskabet og med tredjelande, henholdsvis — for underposition 23.07 B I a) 2 i stedet for underposition 23.07 B l a) 1 , • — for underposition 23.07 B I b) 2 i stedet for underposition 23.07 B I b) 1 , — for underposition 23.07 B I c) 2 i stedet for underposition 23.07 B I c) 1 .
