THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas this decision was not taken ; whereas the COMMUNITIES, monetary compensatory amounts should therefore be fixed on the basis of the difference recorded for the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the pound sterling during the period from 22 to 28 European Economic Community, September 1976 ;

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

Nr. L 167 vom 26. 6. 1976, S. 27).

2) In intra-Community trade, and when the product is denaturalized, according to Article 2 of Regulation (EEC) No 990/72, the basic amount and the possible supplementary amount shall be replaced by a single amount of: — 9-698 £ per 100 kg for the United Kingdom .

3) The basic amount for 100 kg of product under this subheading is equal to the sum of the following elements :

(a) the amount per kg indicated multiplied by the weight of milk and cream contained in 100 kg of the product;

(b) an additional amount for each percentage of saccharose content in 100 kg net of the product, equal to : ^

— 0-0602 £ for the United Kingdom .

4) For products under subheading 04.01 A II a ) the basic amount as well as the additional amount is replaced by the single amount of 3-147.

5) The basic amount for 100 kg of product under this subheading is equal to the sum of the following elements :

( a ) the amount per 100 kg indicated ;

(b) an additional amount for each percentage of saccharose content in 100 kg net of the product, equal to : — 0-0602 £ for the United Kingdom .

8) However, for butter which is the subject of the measures provided for :

— in Regulations (EEC) No 1282/72 ( OJ No L 142, 22 . 6. 1972) and (EEC) No 1717/72 ( OJ No L 181 , 9. 8 . 1972 ), this amount shall be multiplied by the coefficient 0-4 ; however, in the case of the United Kingdom the coefficient shall be 0-6 ; — in Regulation ( EEC) No 349/73 ( OJ No L 40, 13 . 2 . 1973 ), this amount shall be multiplied by the coefficient 0-5 ; — in Regulation (EEC) No 232/75 ( OJ No L 24, 31 . 1 . 1975 ) this amount shall be multiplied by the coefficient 0-35 ; however, in the case of the United Kingdom this coefficient is 0-40 .

7) For importations from New Zealand in accordance with the provisions of Protocol No 18 this compensatory amount is fixed at 19-471 and the special levy is not affected by the coefficient.

8) For importations from New Zealand in accordance with the provisions of Protocol No 18 this compensatory amount is fixed at 16-811 and the special levy is not affected by the coefficient.

9) In trade with third countries the coefficient 1-7120 is applied to this amount.

This coefficient, however, shall be 1-5579 in the case of products containing skimmed-milk powder sold under Regulation ( EEC) No 2054/76.

Where these products contain skimmed-milk powder and either :

( a) fish meal or fish oil and/or liver oil ,

( b) active carbon and/or a mixture of Tartazine Yellow ( E102 ) and Patent Blue V ( E131 ) or Cochineal Red A (E124) or Patent Blue V (E131 ),
