THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN sterling and the Irish pound were maintained at the COMMUNITIES, level reached on 27 September 1976; whereas this measure was taken as a precaution pending a Having regard to the Treaty establishing the decision to be taken urgently by the Council ; European Economic Community, Whereas this decision was not taken ; whereas the Having regard to Council Regulation No differential amounts should therefore be fixed on the 136/66/EEC of 22 September 1966 on the basis of the difference recorded for the pound sterling establishment of a common organization of the during the period from 22 to 28 September 1976; market in oils and fats ( x ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1707/73 (2), Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Management Committee for Oils and Fats, 1569/72 of 20 July 1972 laying down special measures for colza and rape seed (3), as last amended HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : by Regulation (EEC) No 3477/73 (4 ), and in particular Articles 2 (2) and 7 thereof; Article 1 Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2300/73 of 23 August 1973 (5), as last amended by Regulation The Annex to amended Regulation (EEC) No ( EEC) No 632/75 (6), laid down detailed rules of 1580/76 is hereby replaced by the Annex to this application for Regulation (EEC) No 1569/72 ; Regulation. whereas the components used to calculate the differential amounts were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 1580/76 (7), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) Article 2 No 2394/76 ( 8 ); This Regulation shall enter into force on 6 October Whereas by means of Regulation (EEC) No 2394/76 1976. It shall apply in so far as any party concerned the differential amounts applicable to the pound so requests with effect from 4 October 1976.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
