altering the monetary compensatory amounts for pigmeat

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN 2759/75 of 29 October 1975 on the common COMMUNITIES, organization of the market in pigmeat (5), as amended by Regulation ( EEC ) No 367/ 76 («); Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Whereas the Management Committee for Pigmeat has not delivered an opinion within the time limit set Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No by its chairman , 974/71 of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture following the temporary widening of the margins of HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member States ( x ), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No Article 1 557/76 (2), and in particular Article 6 thereof, Subject to any change in the amounts as a result of Whereas the monetary compensatory amounts changes in the exchange rates referred to in Article introduced by Regulation ( EEC ) No 974/71 were 2(1 ) of Regulation (EEC ) No 974/71 , Part 2 of fixed by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 of Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 572/76 is hereby 15 March 1976 (3), as last amended by Regulation replaced by the Annex hereto. Article 2 Whereas the high level of the compensatory amounts in the pigmeat sector causes inconvenience which could be remedied by altering the basis of their This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November 1976. calculation ; whereas the basis of calculation should therefore be the minimum purchase price provided for in Article 5 ( 1 ) of Council Regulation (EEC) No It shall apply with effect from 8 November 1976.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
