COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 1178/77 of 17 May 1977 further extending the period of validity of Regulations (EEC) No 1509/76 and (EEC) No 1522/76 on imports into the Community of prepared and preserved sardines originating in Tunisia and Morocco respectively

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas the present arrangements for these products should therefore be temporarily extended, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 43 thereof, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission,

Whereas the conditions which gave rise to these transi­ tional arrangements still exist; It shall apply from 1 July 1977.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
