COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 1227 /77 of 8 June 1977 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 2101 /75 as regards a standing invitation to tender for the purpose of white sugar exports during the marketing year 1976/77

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Sugar, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 3330 /74 of 19 December 1974 on the common organi­ zation of the market in sugar ( J ), as last amended by Article 1 Regulation (EEC) No 11 10/77 (2), and in particular Article 12 (2) thereof, The second subparagraph of Article 1 3 (2) (b) of Regu­ lation (EEC) No 2101 /75 is hereby amended to read Whereas, in accordance with Commission Regulation as follows : (EEC) No 2101 /75 of 11 August 1975 on a standing invitation to tender in order to determine a levy '(b) export licences issued in connection with a and/or refund on exports of white sugar (3), as last partial invitation to tender held : amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2924/76 (4), the — after 30 April and not later than 8 June Member States issue partial invitations to tender for 1977, shall be valid only until 30 the export of such sugar ; September 1977, Whereas, in order to take into account the present — after 8 June 1977, shall be valid only until 31 October 1977 .' supply situation in the Community and on the world market, export licences issued from a certain date in connection with the abovementioned invitation to Article 2 tender should have a period of validity other than that initially provided for ; This Regulation shall enter into force on 9 June 1977 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
