COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2885/77 of 23 December 1977 adjusting the allocation of the Community quantitative export quota for certain types of aluminium waste and scrap

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Article 1 Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No For aluminium waste and scrap of Common Customs 1023/70 of 25 May 1970 establishing a common proce­ Tariff subheading 76.01 B, the shares allocated to the dure for administering quantitative quotas (•), and in Member States are hereby increased as follows, by particular Article 2 thereof, drawing on the reserve established by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 30/77 : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3165/76 of 21 December 1976 fixing Community — the Federal Republic of Germany's share is in­ quantitative export quotas for certain types of copper creased from 1 028 to 1 256 tonnes ; ash and residues and for certain types of copper and — the French Republic's share is increased from 570 aluminium waste and scrap (2), and in particular to 704 tonnes ; Article 2 thereof, — the Italian Republic's share is increased from 382 Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 3165/76 fixed for 1977 to 465 tonnes ; a Community quantitative export quota of 3 493 — the Benelux countries share is increased from 375 tonnes for aluminium waste and scrap of Common to 451 tonnes ; Customs Tariff subheading 76.01 B, which was allo­ cated by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 30/77 of — the United Kingdom's share is increased from 488 5 January 1977 (3) ; to 596 tonnes ; — the Kingdom of Denmark's share is increased Whereas the Member States have expressed the need from 15 to 21 tonnes . to increase exports for the products in question ; whereas it is therefore necessary to increase the Member States' shares for the products in question by Article 2 drawing on the Community reserves established by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 30/77 ; This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation following its publication in the Official Journal of are in accordance with the opinion of the Quota the European Communities. It shall remain in force Administration Committee, until 31 December 1977 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
