COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC) No 624/79 of 30 March 1 979 fixing the import levies on frozen beef and veal

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN quotations and other information known to the COMMUNITIES , Commission , that the levies should be set out in the Annex hereto, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Article 1 Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 2 (8) thereof, The import levies on frozen beef and veal shall be as set out in the Annex hereto . Whereas the import levies on frozen beef and veal were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 (3 ), as last Article 2 amended by Regulation (EEC) No 385/79 (4) ; Whereas it follows from applying the detailed rules This Regulation shall enter into force on 2 April 1979 . contained in Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 to the

(') In accordance with Regulation ( EEC ) No 706/ 76, levies are not applied to imports into the French overseas departments of products originating in the African , Caribbean and Pacific States or 111 the overseas countries and territories . (a ) Where products are imported under the conditions set out m Article 14 of Council Regulation ( EEC) No 805 / 68 of 2 ^ June 1968 and in provisions adopted for its application , the levy is totally or partially suspended in accordance with those provisions. (b) Entry under this subheading is subject to the production of a certificate issued on conditions laid down by the competent authori­ ties of the European Communities .
