COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 826/79 of 26 April 1979 fixing the import levies on frozen beef and veal

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas it follows from applying the detailed rules COMMUNITIES, contained in Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 to the quotations and other information known to the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Commission, that the levies should be set out in the Economic Community, Annex hereto, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal (!), as last amended by HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Regulation (EEC) No 425/77 (2), and in particular Article 1 2 (8) thereof, Article 1 Whereas the import levies on frozen beef and veal were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 3051 /78 (3), as last The import levies on frozen beef and veal shall be as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 624/79 (4) ; set out in the Annex hereto . Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 652/79 of 29 March 1 979 (5) laid down the coefficient for Article 2 expressing amounts, fixed in units of account, in ECU : This Regulation shall enter into force on 7 May 1979 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(') In accordance with Regulation (EEC) No 706/76, levies are not applied to imports into the French overseas departments of products originating in the African , Caribbean and Pacific States or in the overseas countries and territories. (a) Where products are imported under the conditions set out in Article 14 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 and in provisions adopted for its application , the levy is totally or partially suspended in accordance with those provisions. (b) Entry under this subheading is subject to the production of a certificate issued on conditions laid down by the competent authori­ ties of the European Communities.
