COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1054/83 of 29 April 1983 fixing the import levies on live sheep and goats and on sheepmeat and goatmeat other than frozen meat

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas it follows from applying the detailed rules COMMUNITIES, contained in Regulation (EEC) No 1221 /82 to the quotations and other information known to the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Commission that the levies at present in force should be altered to the amounts set out in the Annex hereto, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1837/80 of 27 June 1980 on the common organization of the market in sheepmeat and goatmeat ('), as last HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 195/82 (2), and in particular the first paragraph of Article 11 thereof, Whereas the import levies on live sheep and goats and Article 1 on sheepmeat and goatmeat other than frozen meat were fixed by Regulation (EEC) No 1221 /82 (3), as last The import levies on live sheep and goats and on amended by Regulation (EEC) No 967/83 (4) ; sheepmeat and goatmeat other than frozen meat shall be as set out in the Annex hereto. Whereas the seasonally adjusted basic price in respect of the 1982/83 marketing year is laid down in Article 2 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 1196/82 of 18 May Article 2 1982 (5), the term of validity of which was last extended by Regulation (EEC) No 1023/83 (6) ; This Regulation shall enter into force on 2 May 1983 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
