COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1254/83 of 20 May 1983 fixing the components used to calculate the differential amounts for colza, rape and sunflower seed
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN actual parity of each of the currencies of the COMMUNITIES, Member States which keep their exchange rates at any given moment within a band of 2,25 % , and Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European — the spot market rate recorded over a given period Economic Community, for the currency of the relevant Member State against each of the currencies of the Member States specified above ; Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/EEC of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 2300/73 (*), as last common organization of the market in oils and fats ('), amended by Commission Regulation (EEC) No as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1413/82 (2), 3476/80 0, lays down detailed rules for the application of Regulation (EEC) No 1 569/72 ; Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1223/83 of 20 May 1983 on the exchange rates to be Whereas, following the adjustments introduced in applied in agriculture (3), respect of central rates in the context of the European monetary system, it is necessary to amend with effect form 23 May 1983 the differential amounts ; whereas Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No account must also be taken of the new representative 1569/72 of 20 July 1972 laying down special measures rates laid down in Regulation (EEC) No 1223/83 ; for colza, rape and sunflower seed (4), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1986/82 (*), and in particular Article 2 (2) thereof, Whereas, as regards the pound sterling, the Italian lira and the Greek drachma, calculation of the differential amounts should be on the basis of the rates during the Whereas Article 2 ( 1 ) (a) of Regulation (EEC) No reference period 11 to 17 May 1983 ; 1569/72 provides that the differential amounts for those Member States which keep their exchange rates Whereas it follows from applying the detailed rules set at any given moment within a band of 2,25 % must be out above that the components used to calculate the determined by taking into account the incidence on differential amounts should be as set out in the Annex prices of the percentage difference between : hereto ; — the conversion rate used for the purposes of the Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation common agricultural policy, and are in accordance with the opinion of the Management — the conversion rate resulting from the central rate ; Committee for Oils and Fats,
