COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1091/88 of 26 April 1988 abolishing the countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in the Canary Islands

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, days ; whereas the conditions specified in Article 26 (1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 are therefore fulfilled and Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European the countervailing charge on imports of tomatoes origina­ Economic Community, ting in the Canary Islands can be abolished, Having regard to the Act of Accession of Spain and Portugal, Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72 HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of 18 May 1972 on the common organization of the market in fruit and vegetables ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 824/88 (2), and in particular the Article 1 second subparagraph of Article 27 (2) thereof, Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 927/88 (3) as Regulation (EEC) No 927/88 is hereby repealed. amended by Regulation (EEC) No 988/88 (4), introduced a countervailing charge on tomatoes originating in the Canary Islands ; Article 2 Whereas for these products originating in the Canary Islands there were no prices for six consecutive working This Regulation shall enter into force on 27 April 1988 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
