COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1421 /88

of 25 May 1988 fixing the minimum selling prices for boned beef put lip for sale by tender in accordance with Regulation (EEC) No 2326/79

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Committee for Beef and Veal, Economic Community,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market Article 1 in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3905/87 (2), and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof, 1 . The minimum selling prices for boned beef stored by the Danish, Irish, German and United Kingdom inter­ Whereas pursuant to Article 9 of Commission Regulation vention agencies for sale by tender in accordance with (EEC) No 2173/79 (3), as amended by Regulation (EEC) Regulation (EEC) No 2326/79, for which the time limit No 1 809/87 (4), the minimum selling prices for meat put for the submission of tenders was 16 May 1988, shall be up for sale by tender should be fixed taking into account as set out in the Annex hereto . tenders submitted ; 2. Tenders submitted in response to the invitation Whereas, in accordance with Article 1 of Commission referred to in paragraph 1 shall be rejected unless they are Regulation (EEC) No 2326/79 (*), tenders have been for the products listed in the Annex. invited for certain quantities of boned beef and veal fixed by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 721 /88 (6) ; whereas, Article 2 consequently, the minimum selling prices should be fixed : This Regulation shall enter into force on 26 May 1988 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States . '
