THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, 1 . The second indent of Article 1 (1 ) is replaced by the following : Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European '— Up to 500 tonnes of boned beef held by the Economic Community, French intervention agency and put into store Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of before 1 January 1988,'. 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) 2. Annex I is replaced by Annex I to this Regulation. No 2248/88 (2), and in particular Article 7 (3) thereof.

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3686/88 (3) provides for the sale at a price fixed in advance of certain Article 2 boned beef held by certain intervention agencies ; whereas, in order to avoid further storage of some beef, Regulation (EEC) No 3803/88 is hereby amended as the quantities put up for sale under the abovementioned follows : Regulation should be amended and prices adjusted ;

1 . The fourth indent of Article 1 (1 ) is replaced by the Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3803/88 (4) following : provides for the sale at prices fixed at a standard rate in advance of certain beef from intervention stocks for '— Up to 400 tonnes of bone-in beef held by the processing in the Community ; United Kingdom intervention agency and bought in before 1 April 1988,'. Whereas to avoid the further storage of some beef, the quantities put up for sale under the abovementioned 2. The following indent is added to Article 1 ( 1 ) : Regulation should be increased ; '— Up to 200 tonnes of boned beef held by the Irish Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are intervention agency and bought in before 1 in accordance with the opinion of the Management January 1988.' HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION

Regulation (EEC) No 3686/88 is hereby amended as This Regulation shall enter into force on 21 December follows : 1988 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
