COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2049/93 of 27 July 1993 temporarily suspending the advance fixing of export refunds on beef and veal

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, refunds from being submitted for speculative purposes, the advance fixing of refunds should be suspended Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European temporarily ; whereas, however, applications lodged before Economic Community, 28 July 1993 need not be rejected, Having regard to Regulation (EEC) No 805/68 of the Council of 27 June 1968 on the common organization of the market in beef and veal ('), as last amended by HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Regulation (EEC) No 125/93 (2) ; Article 1 Having regard to Regulation (EEC) No 885/68 of the Council of 28 June 1968 laying down general rules for The advance fixing of export refunds for the products granting export refunds on beef and veal and criteria for referred to in Article 1 of Commission Regulation (EEC) fixing the amount of such refunds (3), as last amended by No 1457/93 (*) is suspended for the period 28 to 30 July Regulation (EEC) No 427/77 (4), and in particular the 1993 . second subparagraph of Article 5 (4) thereof,

Whereas it is necessary, in the light of the situation on Article 2 certain markets, to adjust the refunds ; whereas, in order to discourage applications for the advance fixing of This Regulation shall enter into force on 28 July 1993 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
