COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2943/93 of 26 October 1993 determining the extent to which applications lodged in October 1993 for import licences for certain poultrymeat products can be accepted

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, cation of those quantities those applied for should be reduced proportionately, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3834/90 HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : of 20 December 1990 reducing for 1991 the levies on certain agricultural products originating in developing Article 1 countries ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1028/93 (2), Applications for import licences for the period 1 October Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 391 7/92 (3) to 31 December 1993 submitted pursuant to Regulations extends into 1993 the application of Regulation (EEC) No (EEC) No 3809/91 and (EEC) No 3938/92 shall be 3834/90 ; granted :

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3938/92 (4) (a) for 2,1180 % of the quantity applied for, in the case of set the quantity of poultrymeat that can be imported at a products covered by No 59.0020 in Regulation (EEC) No 3834/90 ; reduced levy for the period 1 October to 31 December 1993 ; (b) for 10,4853 % of the quantity applied for, in the case of products covered by No 59.0025 in Regulation Whereas Article 4 (5) of Commission Regulation (EEC) (EEC) No 3834/90. No 3809/91 0, as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 581 /92 (6), stipulates that the quantities applied for can be reduced ; whereas applications for import licences for Article 2 duckmeat lodged pursuant to that Regulation are for total quantities in excess of those available under Regulation This Regulation shall enter into force on 27 October (EEC) No 3938/92 ; whereas in order to ensure a fair allo 1993 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
